My response to a brief set by a student on my course.
The aim was to create a postcard reflecting upon the recent crisis in Ukraine.
Inspired by Dead Kennedys single cover for Holiday in Cambodia, I formed my own rendition.
Using an unflattering and edited image of Putin, I used the Ukraine flag as a beach backdrop, using their quote of "peacekeeping" to draw in the influence from Holiday in Cambodia.
I used the Russian flag as a beach towel and had Putin stand on top of the flag, emphasising that this is his war and not Russias.
